i moved. to here.
muah.

1. wake up late. i never wake up late. i got my lazy butt out of bed at 10 AM and it was FABULOUS. i don't remember the last time i slept that long, without waking up & forcing myself to go back to sleep. nope! yesterday i just slept like a baby straight through... it was MUCH needed. good sleep= not grumpy. :)

2. watch a HILARIOUS and AMAZING video of "le cruise" made by the fabulous dre filio. i didn't wish i was on the cruise boat, but i wished i was in all the fabulous pictures in orgeon & canada bc it's just so pretty. :) i wished i had the video soundtrack on my computer so i could listen to it all day, and i love being in the company of seriously cool people, even if i only know them in varying degrees!
this picture looks familiar.... wait..... cool awesome people in amazing places all together...

3. and a MUST: stay up into the wee wee hours talking & laughing until your stomach hurts, till your eyes won't stay open, and your heart is full with your favorite person in the whole world. he's snuggly, silly and doesn't mind when i ruin his $3 white t-shirts with mascara:(cruise photo credits to jeff brown & dre)

best movie i've seen all year :)

I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!
have you seen those ten year olds with the tennis shoes with the wheels in the heels so they can walk AND wheel around????
they're called heely's. at for a STEAL at ross ($13 bucks!! brad paid $40 for his) they're MINE.
i heely-ed around brad's house for an hour. we have big plans to go to disneyland asap.
we'll be there-10 year olds at heart.
i couldn't be more tickled at this moment! :)

nope. disneyland is not the happiest place on earth folks.

perhaps at 17th street and PCH in HB, california???
perhaps with a bunch of completely awesome people, playing soccer in the sand, tackling and kicking shins, getting sunburnt and swimming, body surfing and laying out listening to music.
making friends with cool chicks from denmark, bike riding, 17th street deli, nap on a couch, dirty feet covered in sand, warm sun, cool breeze, cute boy...

i'd say exactly there is the happiest place on earth.
and the best day i've ever had off work. ever.
i wish i had taken pictures of my CRAZY beach hair. it was incredible.

1. i deactivated my facebook until further notice and i feel more free. my friends have my email. they can email me.
2. i was going to delete my blog, but i decided to keep it just so i can tell you today was a LOVELY sunday that began with picking up b-rad from the boat and ended with lots of friends on all the couches, snuggling with my boo, watching and laughing at America's Funniest Home Videos and then hearing Roger tells us he got en-gag-ed to Lisa today. HOORAY. :) and since it was ever so lovely, i decided to keep my blog just to tell you about it.

as "favorite" aunt i get bragging rights.
(this is my sister btw, not me.)
wee baby annie. she's just so sweet and little, dontcha just wanna eat her up??

our whole floor has water coming from above. lovely.
this is just one spot of many. in fact, i'm getting really sleepy bc the dripping is kinda like nature therapy.... like its raining. and i DO love rain...
i keep hoping they'll send us home. but they won't.

i'm not usually a girl for brand names. i love target. and kohl's and whatever fits. things from flea markets and knock offs.
but...um...
i confess i'd love this in a little blue box.
*sigh*
don't click the picture unless you wanna get sucked in.
:)

welp, kids! i had my first earthquake yesterday...
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1757974/latest_california_earthquake_measures.html
and afterwards for a few minutes you could feel the floor rolling and rolling.... queasy.

this morning i drove merzy & el jefe & bradleyjbarttels to the long beach port to leave me for 7 days and go cruzing to canadia.
they were supposed to go to me-hee-co, but then the piggy flu made them reroute. i wasn't jealous when they were going DOWN the coast, but i REALLY am jealous now bc i've always wanted to go to BC, Canada.
(photo credit goes to mike c fb stalked)
i'm already missing brad.
and its like 5 o clock.
on the first day.
BAH!!

work conference + my own hotel room and king sized bed + free food and travel + funny coworkers + perfect weather = the ideal work week.
china town purchase
my view at dinner at fisherman's wharf :) yep that's right. sunset out the glass looking at golden gate. woot!
my first cable car ride!! i can't believe this is my 3rd trip to SF and my first cable car. i hung on the side and gave high fives to the people on the cars going passed :)

well my weekend in vegas consisted of a shoe thief,
crazy babies,
old funny friends,
and flowers
and family
& many many laughs.

my mom now has 4 outta 5 college graduates. way to go nate dog! we love you.
thanks for giving us a reason to all get together and eat our weight in hor'de'oeuvres and bbq chicken.
:)

every 3/4 weeks i go and see my friend annie. annie is my favorite gift to myself; she's the gift that keeps on giving... as in i keep giving her money.

annie is the estetician who lovingly sculpts my bushy unruly eye brows into perfect eye-framing lines making her the perfect canidate for "my favorite and 'necessary' person i've met in CA."

if you don't have an annie, get one. she's amazing. she singlehandedly can turn a day around. if you want to feel beautiful within minutes, annie can do it.

I give you permission to pamper yourself.

and was thinking about him all morning...
sorry b.
i think its bc he's also sylar, and i always love the bad guys on tv shows. i love a man with edge.

this morning i walked through a spider web knowingly.
oh, i saw it.
i inspected it for octo-legged vermin, decided i still needed to walk through this space, took a deep breath and went for it, arms flailing in front of me.

course then i got all squeamish and had to rub down my body to make sure it wasn't all stuck there or some little arachnid hadn't held on at the last minute.

NO SERIOUSLY. this is a HUGE feat. i scream and run and jump and am afraid of spiders roughly the size of a pinhead.
perhaps it has something to do with the large wolf spiders i grew up finding in our garage. *SHUDDER*
or the fact that the average spider runs faster than me. and usually not from me, but AT me. or the big butted black widows, or the bonus feature of living in las vegas- brown recluse- it'll KILL ya whilst having your arm rot from the inside out... lovely.

or maybe it was when my brothers sat on me on the couch so i had to watch arachnophobia when i was like 8.
thanks kev & nate. i'm scarred.

facing my fears. woot. :)

thats right. i saw it. at the 10 o clock show.
and it was AWESOME.

work.
go to the angel's game fo' FREE.
hoop and hoorah at the tv when kris allen didnt get kicked off american idol.(this MAY have been the highlight of my night. ha.)
snuggle.
take a long shower and go to bed.

quite a lovely wednesday if i do say myself!

we dominated. both girls' and boys' teams. and someone caught a pic of me dancing on the field AGAIN.

tasha moved OUTof suz and emily's
jeni moved INTO suz and emily's OUT of linds and coco's
liz moved OUT of christie's INTO linds and coco's
meredith moved OUT of christie's TO home.
sara moved OUT and becki moved INTO kelly's.

oh heavens. and all in one apartment complex. on one day.

and on top of all that, i was up at 8 AM for powder puff practice before our game at ten (which we WON- woot take that crazy palo alto qb who was screaming at her own team the whole time!), then to watch our boys dominate the boys palo alto team, then all the moving...

WHEW.
i'm exhausted and frustrated. how come when someone moves OUT they can't just pack their crap and move OUT?? why does it have to take 3 days? and don't they know someone can't move IN if they aren't OUT yet??
its kinda hard to clean and move someone in with your dishes and food in the kitchen still.
over girls. and moving. OH WAIT. i get to move june 1st (to a location unknown- pray i find somewhere). the end.

my dad is jealous.and i don't know if i should be as excited as i was to see a legend from my childhood play in real life!
shout out to my powershot- we were in almost the highest row of the WHOLE stadium and my 40x zoom could read AND focus on griffey. thanks, canon, for making such a bomb camera i own.SO FUN with miss e-liz haefer (a mariners fan in hiding), a bunch of her coworkers, a tailgate, it was fo' free AND fireworks friday.
i love my life.

2 years ago, in the same large conference room in which i walked to pick up that most desired piece of paper "Your Diploma will be mailed to you upon Confirmation," also walked one
mr jason lynn bell.
i stalked this photo of facebook, jface, hope you don't mind.

jason cloud and i have now been friends for 4 years. he liked my glasses, and i liked my first taste of coppermill rolls. i was math stats composite, he a stats math dual major. a friendship made in mathematical friendship heaven. add a piano, a little LFO, Mana, off roading, the same college apartment complex, facebook and blogging and you've got one smart, fab friend.i skipped out of logan as fast as my feet could carry and got a job in financial planning, and jason squall chose to do something with his degree- go to grad school. ;)

i'd just like to have a formal, blog shout-out to my random friend: j money- way to graduate.
ps. this means i walked 2 years ago. woah.

this week i had the sublime opportunity to be cell phone free. seriously. as in mobile phone device-less.
sunday i was annoyed, monday had separation anxiety, tuesday i was a-okay and by wednesday i was loving the freedom!
how and why you CAN survive without a cell phone!!
  • if you feel like you will miss things and be disconnected to people because of your lack of phonage- get facebook, myspace, twitter, email, or gchat. you will miss very little. (unless you are at your bf's house and he is at yours at the same time. in which case, yes, you will miss each other.)
  • if you are feeling unloved and unconnected, call or text all your family and friends, then turn your phone off for 4 days. when you turn it on again will have many a text and voicemail and you will feel SO popular. "popular, i know about pop-u-lar."
  • it is imperative that you make your messages clear and concise when sending them through another person. you may end up with a train wreck like that whispering game. you may think you are telling them to convey the message of "meet at my house by the garage at 9:30" and end up with "i'm eating mouse for dinner at 6. and purple cabbage."
  • embrace your new found freedom. run with it. revel in the fact that when you drive home from work if you get a flat tire, run out of gas or get in an accident, there is NO way for you to get hold of someone. don't worry if your sister just had a baby, i'm sure she knows you love her if you don't call for 4 days. BUT best of all, if you want to be left in PEACE- no ward mass text messages, no drama, and just the lovely sound of your own music playing in your head- trust me. lose your phone. you'll love it. :)

I'm gonna go recycle something.Congrats, Earth. It's your day.

some women are drippin with diamonds.
some women are drippin with pearls,
lucky me! look at me, what am i drippin' with??
little girls!!
-annie the muscial.

seriously people. ONE GUESS at what kind of kid my SIL shelly is having AND my lifetime friend laura is having, too??

it's a good thing i like pink. :)

one of the funnest, brightest, happiest and most lovely weddings i've been to in a while. it's a miracle people find each other in the first place, let alone be so happy as brighton and juston!! i am so excited to see them grow old! :) congrats my friends- it was TOTALLY worth all 700 miles driven :) including the 6 hours it took us to get home- while brad was sick and slept... hehe
