1. fell asleep on a love sac, which i decided are NOT comfy. not at all.
2. went on a walk to the beach- my sunday AM routine

4. fell asleep all three hours of church.
5. talked to danielle online for over and hour
6. told danielle secrets :)
7. ate deliciouso dinner with some friendly personas
8. out of the blue decided to go back to school for spanish & applied at golden west- AHH

my screen saver "a la mac" is pictures. today i was just watching memories floating by, people places, beautimuss and ugly faces. oh pre-mish rich tyler dixon, kelli & dylan, cali sunsets, continental apts, and las vegas photobooths...how do we love thee!
then BAM!!
there was THAT one. of me & a certain exboyfriend-not-to-be-named, all happy & go lucky @ a certain california 50's-esque diner chain. and instead of the gag reflex i usually feel with regard to said relationship...i smiled. :)
and said (to the picture, who did not respond), "sucker. look how far i've come from YOU. I AM SO HAPPY. Seriously." (ok, maybe the holier-than-thou "sucker" wasn't necessary but true nevertheless.)

i usually don't go all religious on my blog. it's not my thing. but for the record:
the sun shines in darkness. if you need a picker-upper- get on your knees and ask for one.
or in my case cry for 4 hours straight driving back some stupid big truck back from las vegas asking for help and a sign. perhaps your bestfriend jamie will call you out of the blue to tell you she loves you. it will give you the strength to take the first step out of the darkness into the light.

They are burning far away and ruining my 90 degree sunny california day.

the guy at la creperia played moon river on the baby grand as we ate. it made me want to dance like in elizabethtown. it was awesome.

today i was reminded of this. didn't i have the most beautiful 3 best friends in college?
this is one of my favorite pictures of all time. mostly bc i swell up like a fatty water balloon with love when i think about it.

this is why i love song lyrics. because they mean SO much more than just words & music when coming from a friend. they etch themselves in my brain. they have rhythm & rhyme. they stick. more than the beat, more than the timing, the words are what make the song.

i'm excited to go to vegas this weekend. i can't wait to see people i already know and who love me, not be surrounded only by great people i don't really know.
